Norma Ost has always been interested in animal studies, their anatomy and texture of the fur being a particular challenge.

She works in acrylic and pastel and although she enjoys painting a variety of subjects, animals, either wildlife or domestic, are her first love.

Her paintings have been exhibited widely and she accepts commissions.

She is a member of the National Association of Painters in Acrylic, the Sefton Guild of Artists, and an Associate member of the Society of Feline Artists - and also, of course PAWS.
